Our story

Who we are

The American Ministers Association was founded in 1985 by the late Rev. Dr. Harold L. Shindoll so that the students and ministers of his Florida Theological Seminary could receive credentials and be licensed to preach.

Today AMA is an incorporated non-profit, 501(c)(3) association based in Orlando, Florida. We credential, encourage and support ministers and churches of like faith in the United States and around the nations.
