These terms apply to your use of americanministers.org, including your account, the application and online payments. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Who we are
The site is operated by American Ministers Association, Inc., a non-profit corporation incorporated in Florida and recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization, at 5950 Lakehurst Dr. #101, Orlando, FL 32819.
Your account
Keep the information in your account accurate and your password confidential. You are responsible for activity in your account; tell us promptly at info@americanministers.org if you believe someone else has used it.
Applications
By submitting an application you confirm that the information and documents you provide are true and complete, and that your references have agreed to be contacted.
Submitting an application and paying the fee does not guarantee approval. AMA reviews each application, may ask for more information and decides at its discretion, in keeping with its bylaws and Statement of Faith.
Fees and payments
Fees are shown in US dollars on the Membership page and at checkout, and are processed securely by Stripe. The application fee includes your first year of membership. Refund requests are reviewed by AMA case by case; please contact the office.
Membership and credentials
Membership is valid for one year and is renewed by paying the annual fee. After the expiry date, a 90-day grace period applies; after that, the membership lapses until it is renewed. Credentials are valid only while the membership is not lapsed, suspended or revoked.
AMA may suspend or revoke a membership or credential in keeping with its bylaws and Statement of Faith. The status of any credential can be checked on our Verify page.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, use another person’s identity, try to access information that is not yours, or interfere with the operation of the site.
Our name and materials
The AMA name, seal and the content of this site belong to American Ministers Association, Inc. Do not use them to suggest a membership or credential you do not hold.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, AMA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
